Marcella Tessari is Tessari-Art. I'm born in Italy in 1973 in a small village named Salo' at Garda lake. As a daughter of a well-known art painter, I moved to the Netherlands in 1997. After studying the Dutch language I went to the Royal Art Academy in The Hague in 2000  to study "Textiles and Fabrics". I graduated in 2005

    

In 2005 I started my own small company named "Tessari-Art" which is currently producing felted scarfs in limited editions. Meanwhile, "Tessari-Art" is working together with an American company concerning laser cutted objects for the interior market.

    
I love nature around me, which inspires me to design my own textiles and fabrics. Fluorescent colors and working with natural fabrics gives me great pleasure and lots of fun to get me going.
  

Tessari-Art can be seen at the exhibition "Beyond Material" in art gallery "Lous Martin" (www.galerielousmartin.nl) from 19 nov. - 20 jan. After that, the exibition can be seen at different art galleries wordwide during 2007
